KADF logo

KSU is accepting applications from small-scale farmers that are motivated to improve their farming operations or improve the marketability of their products. Small scale farmers (annual agricultural sales less than $250,000) may apply for up to $5,000 to improve their business. Grants are available for:

      1. Certified organic farmers, and those officially transitioning to organic with the Kentucky Department of Agriculture (see KDA organic page for guidelines);
      2. Value-added enterprise development; and
      3. Aquaculture farming and marketing.

Funding for mini-grant program comes from the Kentucky Agricultural Development Fund.
